Giving Back: Water for Life
At Storybook Quilts, where children is the focus of our mission, we give back by focusing on the most basic of needs: clean water. This need all too often seems to be overlooked in giving aid to developing countries; aid to provide housing, food and medical care all are important, but none can really succeed without clean water and sanitation.
From the sale of each Storybook Quilt, we donate between $5 and $20, depending on the package sold, to one of two “Water for Life” charities. One is faith-based – the Water for Life mission of LIFE Outreach International; the other is secular and also called Water for Life. The customer chooses which organization receives our donation. We also hope you will consider making your own donation to Water for Life.
